Unbelievable!

Salvation only comes from Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

You know what would be refreshing?
Someone to post about a Church leader doing it right.

I mean, if I were lost and happened upon any of the “Christian” blogs I would certainly discover where not to go, but where to go would prove to be more difficult.

“Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;”

Like AV once said; “if all you can do is ride a Sunday School bus and shout hurray for Jesus, shout to the glory of God!”

The spirit displayed by Rabbi Rodriguez on the Paula White post is what I’m talking about.

Psalm 71:23

“My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.”

My brethren, we have already won, let us go forth as victors!

Don,

So you would be in favor of ignoring Paul’s command to “reprove, rebuke, and exhort”?

Your suggestion sounds an awful lot like, “If you don’t have anything good to say, then say nothing at all.” I get the whole idea of being edifying, etc., but this doesn’t sound like the Don Sivyer I know and love.

No, did I suggest to ignore any of the Word of God? It just seems to be a balance issue. We are also instructed on praise and virtue. Sometimes it good to rest in the good issues also. We spend a lot of time on the one side of issues, Build us up also, is all I’m asking. The suggestion was not directed at you asmuch as at the respondents. As I alluded to in a previous post, there seems to be a great deal of caustic discussion. And we thought Sturgis was rough.

Love ya brother, you’re doing a good job!

Philippians 4
1Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

2I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

3And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

4Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

5Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

10But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

11Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

12I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

14Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

15Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

16For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

17Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

18But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

20Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

21Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.

22All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar’s household.

23The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen

To which I also say~~~~~ AMEN!

To take the idea, WWJD “What Would Jesus Do?” and play the game to IWJO “I Watch Joel Osteen”, is sad. It truely saddens me to see anyone try to take teh focus that should be on Jesus and try to place it on a personality. I am so grateful that no matter who or what comes around in this world, that God and His word can never really be overshadowed. I just pray that God would open Joel’s eyes and heart.

Just the very idea of a “IWJO” lapel pin makes my hair stand on end. :::shudder:::

“Ed”

Once again, Joel Osteen’s utter failure to uphold Christian truth in an age of apostacy only further supports what is all too clear about his teaching: it is spiritually bankrupt.

Here is a link to articles our ministry has created on Osteen’s heretical compromise that is anointed as “Christianity” today.

…is this the twighlight zone or something??? Did anyone here read the disclaimer that said that the makers of the lapel pin are not at all connected to or affiliated with Pastor Joel’s ministry?? Just wondering….

BTW — I could make an I Follow Pauls Blog pin (IFPB) and sell it on ebay and donate a portion to him, but that doesn’t mean I speak for him. I believe we can all agree to that point.
