The Politico reports on Mitt Romney’s rather “paltry record on life,”

Why are conservatives having such a hard time believing Romney? His recent comments about his abortion record as governor of Massachusetts provide a clue.

“I came down on the side of life [in] every single instance as governor of Massachusetts.”

So declared Romney at the recent CNN/YouTube Republican presidential debate.

. . . .

Unfortunately, an examination of Romney’s record on life issues reveals a much more nuanced record than Romney likes to admit. Herewith a partial account:

• Romney’s universal health insurance plan, which he often touts as the signature achievement of his governorship, allows women to have an abortion for a $50 co-pay. Even worse, the plan does not include any exceptions, which means Massachusetts taxpayers are forced to fund abortion-on-demand.

He’s obviously a shill…

Mitt Romney is, at his very core, Mormon. Now, before you say, “Well, yeah, duh,” this is what I mean: Consider issues like polygamy, blacks, blood atonement, and other aspects of the beliefs, practices, and history of the Mormon church. LDS leadership will tell you, “No, we never believed/taught THAT!” Yet by doing just a cursory search, one can find a veritable treasure trove of quotes and teachings from Mormon prophets/apostles that say, “Yes, they did teach/believe/practice that!”

Enter the Romney. A couple days after the YouTube debate, Romney was interviewed by Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren, and again insisted: “Every bill that came to my desk that related to [abortion], I came down on the side of life. So I have a record. You can look at what I did when I was governor.”

Unfortunately, an examination of Romney’s record on life issues reveals a much more nuanced record than Romney likes to admit. Coincidence? Eh, not so much.

Don’t forget that Romney is a “life-long” hunter that his own aide testified that Romney has been hunting all of twice. OH - and doesn’t own a gun. Mike Huckabee is the REAL DEAL on any subject the GOP needs to address.
