(CBS/AP) A German photographer caught the heart-stopping moment when a father decided there was no other way to save his 2-year-old son from a blazing apartment fire than to drop him out of fourth-story window.

What a good comparison of “faith”. When we finally realize that there is absolutely no hope outside the arms of God, all that is left to do is, jump and trust. So simple yet so difficult, as this decision must have been. Quite the parallel!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son..!

These pictures are riveting. Imagine you as that father, looking down on your son falling, hoping that someone below will not drop the ball. Now imagine our Father looking down on his Son, turning away his face and hearing the question: “why hast thou forsaken me”?
This picture brings a perspective sometimes lost in daily life.
