The Detroit News has video excerpts of the pertinent testimony of Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick where it is alleged that he perjured himself during a whistleblower trial on August 30, 2007:
What ever happened to the days of honesty and integrity under Coleman Young?
I mean , back then we didn’t only lie we dealt drugs also.
Oh, Detroit, Oh Detroit, how oft would I have gathered thee under my wings as a hen doth her chicks… but ye would not!
My comment is not related to this blog post:
You can tell that the right doesn’t think that Hilary has a chance any longer since there was not an entry of Hilary “misspoken” statement about Bosnia. I thought it would be all over this site.
Re: Kwame, I am still in shock that he was re-elected. He has dark cloud over his head before that time, yet he somehow retained his seat. Detroiters need to go to a city like Chicago and see what happens to a town that has good leadership. Young - Archar - Kwame is not a bastion of quality leadership.
Might as well continue the quote, Don…
“…behold, your city is left destitute”
BTW, appreciate your posts very much.
